During my recent stay, the private onsen experience provided a soothing retreat from the outside world. The clean room offered a balcony with a mountain view, which was calming and a highlight. I appreciated the attentive staff who assisted with local dining reservations when in-house options did not meet my needs. The overall atmosphere felt like a true escape from the bustling city life I know as a single traveler from New York.

Retreat Villa 1/F was almost charming, except for the very expensive dinner where portions were luckily small. I also can’t believe there’s no TV in a place supposedly offering luxury. A complimentary welcome drink or a simple upgrade, would’ve made this whole experience worth it, but it's like I was just another nobody. Truly disappointing.

The private onsen was spacious and could
easily fit four people, making it perfect for relaxing with family. We enjoyed the incredible dinner as well, but the higher prices did catch us off guard. Overall, it was a wonderful retreat, but plan for your meals ahead.

The staff members were incredibly attentive, making our stay feel personalized and welcoming. Dining options were somewhat limited, which could be a drawback for larger groups.

I had an amazing time enjoying the gorgeous private onsen and indulging in the delicious Japanese dinner during my stay. The spa offered excellent treatments, like the soothing foot and back massages, that really helped me unwind. The only small issue was the limited dining options to choose from, but overall, it was an unforgettable experience! 😊
